For more than 40 years, John Edgar Wideman has been writing about family, loss, the penal system, physical and emotional life, art, and memory. His books include Look for Me and I’ll Be Gone, Writing to Save a Life, Brothers and Keepers, Fatheralong, and Hoop Roots. Mitchell S. Jackson is the recipient of a 2021 Pulitzer Prize, a National Magazine Award, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. He is the author of Survival Math: Notes on an All-American Family.
