Allison V. Smith

Allison V. Smith is an editorial and fine arts photographer based in Dallas, Texas. Although currently working freelance, Smith has served as a staff photographer for The Denton Record Chronicle, The Santa Fe New Mexican, The Fort Worth Star Telegram, and The Dallas Morning News. She received a B.A in Journalism from Southern Methodist University.

Smith’s work spans both editorial and commercial photography, and has been exhibited all over Texas and the Southwest including at the Marfa Contemporary, the Galveston Arts Center, and the Barry Whistler Gallery.
