Cristiana Mennella is an Italian freelance translator of American and English literature. She officially started her career by publishing her translation of the Marginalia by Edgar Allan Poe. From then on she translated dozens of novels, short stories and essays for top Italian publishers, working mainly on contemporary American authors, among them George Saunders, William T. Vollmann and Philipp Meyer. She also translated Nobel Prize Winner Doris Lessing, and Anthony Trollope.
