Ed Skoog

Ed Skoog was born in Topeka, Kansas in 1971. He is the author of the poetry collections Mister Skylight (2009), Rough Day (2013), and Run the Red Lights (2016), all from Copper Canyon Press. His poems have appeared in Harper’s, the Paris Review, the American Poetry Review, the New Republic, Poetry, and the Best American Poetry. He has been a Bread Loaf Fellow and a writer-in-residence at George Washington University and the Richard Hugo House. A coordinator of the Idyllwild Arts Summer Writers Week, Skoog co-hosts, with novelist J. Robert Lennon, the podcast Lunch Box, with Ed and John. He is a visiting writer at the University of Montana and lives in Portland, Oregon.
