Gabriel Byrne

Gabriel Byrne is an Irish actor, director, and producer celebrated for his roles in the films The Usual Suspects and Miller’s Crossing and the television series Vikings and In Treatment. In 1993 Byrne produced the Academy Award–nominated film In the Name of the Father, based on the true story of the Guildford Four, four men falsely convicted of the 1974 IRA Guildford pub bombings.

Byrne is a human rights activist and has served as the UNICEF Ireland ambassador. He published a memoir, Pictures in My Head, in 1997.
