Isabella Hammad is the author of the novels Enter Ghost (2023) and The Parisian (2019), which won a Palestine Book Award and was a New York Times Notable Book. Hammad's other honors include the Sue Kaufman Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Betty Trask Award from the Society of Authors, the Plimpton Prize for Fiction, an O. Henry Prize, a Gerald Freund Fellowship from MacDowell, and an Axinn Foundation Fellowship from New York University. She was also a 2019 National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 honoree. Hammad was born in London and has lived in the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as elsewhere in Europe and the Middle East.
