Janine Jackson

Janine Jackson is program director at Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR), a media watch group, and producer/host of FAIR’s weekly radio show CounterSpin. Her work has appeared in Civil Rights since 1787, Stop the Next War Now: Effective Responses to Violence and Terrorism, Will the Last Reporter Please Turn Out the Lights: The Collapse of Journalism and What Can Be Done to Fix It, and other publications. Jackson also serves on the board of the African American Policy Forum. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and earned an MA in sociology from the Graduate Faculty at the New School for Social Research.
