Joseph Parisi was Editor-in-Chief of Poetry magazine from 1983 to 2003. His most recent books are 100 Essential Modern Poems (2005) and Between the Lines: A History of POETRY in Letters, 1962-2002, (co-edited with Stephen Young and published summer 2006).
