Joseph Stroud

Joseph Stroud is the author of five collections of poetry: In the Sleep of Rivers (Capra Press,1974), Signatures (BOA Editions, 1982), Below Cold Mountain (Copper Canyon Press, 1998), Country of Light (Copper Canyon Press, 2004), and Of This World (Copper Canyon Press, 2010). Stroud has received a Pushcart Prize, a Witter Bynner Fellowship from the Library of Congress and in 2011 he received an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature. Stroud divides his time between a house in Santa Cruz on the California coast and a cabin at Shay Creek in the Sierra Nevada.
