Salvador Dali

Salvador Dalí (1904–1989) was a Spanish Surrealist painter, sculptor, and writer renowned for his dreamlike and often bizarre imagery. Dalí’s works, such as The Persistence of Memory, epitomize the Surrealist movement with their exploration of subconscious desires and fears. His flamboyant personality and technical mastery brought him international fame, and his art has been exhibited in major institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, Spain. Dalí received numerous honors throughout his life, including the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. His legacy remains a cornerstone of modern art history.
