Stacey Neff

Stacey Neff is a Santa Fe-based glass artist and the Executive Director of the New Mexico Experimental Glass Workshop. Neff holds a BFA in Glass from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is a Pollock Krasner Foundation Inc. Grant Recipient, as well as the winner of the Bellinger Sculpture Award from the Chatauqua Institute in New York.
Neff’s work has been part of exhibitions at the Chicago International Art Fair, SITE Santa Fe, the Museum of Art and Design in New York, and the Fresno Art Museum, among others. Art in America said of her work, “She has manipulated the rigid medium of glass to abstractly but powerfully evoke the textures and structures of living things, neither plant nor animal, but something of the two.” Neff’s work is also part of the permanent collections at the New Mexico Museum of Art, the Corning Glass Museum in New York, and the International Museum of Glass in Washington, among others. From 1995 to 2000, Neff served as the vice president of The Glass Improvement Company, which specialized in creating glassware from recycled materials.
