Wade Davis is an ethnographer, world-traveler, writer, and filmmaker, currently Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society.
He has published 15 books including One River (1996), The Clouded Leopard (1998), Light at the Edge of the World (2001) and most recently The Wayfinders: Why Ancient Wisdom Matters in the Modern World (2009). David Suzuki calls Davis “a rare combination of scientist, scholar, poet and passionate defender of all life’s diversity.”
