Yohann Potico was born in France. A bassist and producer, he has been part of the New York music scene for more than 10 years. He was a member of the indie rock trio California King, with whom he recorded three albums. As a sideman, he has performed in many venues, including the Blue Note, BAMcafé, Littlefield, and the Knitting Factory. He has collaborated, performed, and recorded with composer-poet Janice A. Lowe in her band NAMAROON.
