Words Without Borders

This grant supports the website Words Without Borders, the online journal that translates, publishes, and promotes the finest contemporary international literature. WWB is an innovative response to a serious lack of translated work in the US and offers an ever-changing array of writers from around the world whose work otherwise would be unavailable to those who read in English. In 2018, WWB was named one of three winners of the inaugural Whiting Literary Magazine Prize.
